I typically book senior sessions 3-8 months in advance, so joining your class's notification list is the best way to maximize your chances of getting your preferred session date and season.
When booking opens for your class, everyone on the notification list will be contacted and given first access to available dates before they're announced publicly. There is no oblication to book a session by joining the list, just a way to be the first to know when reservations become available.
